Co-owner and Captain of Sail Bermuda, Jono is a seasoned yacht captain, ocean crosser, and proud Bermudian with deep local roots. While he now spends most of his time managing operations on land, Jono occasionally steps aboard — especially when it comes to sharing his passion for creating unforgettable luxury dining experiences as a private chef. With a love for both the ocean and the art of fine dining, Jono brings a unique touch to every charter he’s part of, ensuring that every guest’s time on the water is truly exceptional.
Tiana
Tiana, our brilliant Bermudian Captain and First Mate, brings a wealth of experience from working on the waters of Bermuda. Her knowledge of the local waters, combined with her skilled seamanship and natural rapport with people, shines through in every Sail Bermuda charter. Whether she’s guiding guests around Bermuda’s hidden gems or providing top-notch service onboard, Tiana’s easy-going nature ensures everyone feels welcomed and relaxed throughout their journey.
LOKI
A Bermudian through and through, Loki has thousands of miles of sailing experience across Bermuda and the Caribbean and holds an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore (Commercially Endorsed) qualification. An experienced charter captain, he loves sharing the island’s hidden spots and maritime heritage while making sure every charter feels relaxed, safe and memorable. When he’s not at the helm, you’ll likely find Loki scuba diving, travelling or continuing to build his maritime knowledge and experience around the world.
Jackie
Jackie brings both a local’s insight and a global perspective to Sail Bermuda, thanks to her background in environmental architecture and her years spent in California. As a Bermudian, she has a deep love for the island and a strong commitment to its preservation. Whether she’s showcasing Bermuda’s stunning landscapes or connecting personally with guests, Jackie’s adventurous spirit and dedication to sustainability make each charter experience unique and memorable.
Jess
Bermudian by blood and Californian by upbringing, Jess has always had a strong connection to the island, returning to Bermuda every year while growing up. After moving to Colorado to study History and Political Science, she fell in love with the mountains and never left, spending 14 years on ski patrol along the way. Easy-going, outdoorsy and always up for an adventure, Jess now loves being back on Bermuda’s waters and sharing the island she’s known and loved all her life with our guests.
Kyle
Born and raised in Bermuda, Kyle has always felt at home on the water. He studied Commerce with a double major in Entrepreneurship and Global Business Management, while also sailing with the Dalhousie sailing team, and has since represented Bermuda on the SSL team. Never one to sit still, he’s completed the May 24 Half Marathon three times, loves freediving and even runs his own second-hand clothing business. Kyle brings that same energy and adventurous spirit aboard, and is happiest when he’s busy, outdoors and enjoying Bermuda’s ocean.
Abi
As a Bermudian who grew up on the water, Abi has always had a natural connection to the island and its coastline. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Global Studies in the Netherlands, she was drawn to working on boats as a way to deepen her knowledge of Bermuda’s history and waters while sharing them with others. Sweet, caring and attentive by nature, Abi brings a calm and welcoming presence aboard and loves helping guests experience the Bermuda she knows and loves.
Alonzo
A proud Bermudian, Alonzo has been part of the Sail Bermuda crew for several years, bringing his easy-going nature and ever-present smile aboard as a First Mate. During the week, he works full-time as a Carpenter with Bermuda’s Department of Works and Engineering, but throughout the summer you’ll find him back on the water with us most weekends. With plenty of charter experience and local knowledge, Alonzo brings great energy to the crew and we’re always happy to have him aboard.
